he Academy Education Association advocated strongly for a bonus for all staff during the few months leading up to the district’s decision. The AEA worked with the Pikes Peak Education Association to gather data about neighboring districts that distributed bonuses. This data was critical in informing our position and encouraging the district to do likewise.
We are thrilled to announced our victory came at the School Board meeting on Thursday, January 19.
